SUMMARY:I Belong Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Grace Avenue and I Belong are working together to offer a place of fellowship\, growth\, and activity for persons with special needs and disabilities ages 12 years old and up. The connection with I Belong came out of the research\, need\, and gifts from our A Church for All campaign. Through this partnership\, we will be able to make that dream a reality. \nCommunity Picnic\nSunday\, June 7 | 12:30-2:30pm | Frisco Commons Park\nWe are kicking off this partnership with a community picnic. This will be a free event for people with disabilities and their families to enjoy lunch\, art\, yoga\, and music together. \nMonthly Meetings\n1st Saturdays Beginning in August | 3:00-8:00pm | at Grace Avenue\nStarting later this summer\, I Belong will begin regular meetings at Grace Avenue each month for art lessons\, activities\, pizza\, and a movie. \nTo learn more about I Belong\, head to their website at ibelong.art. For more information about Grace Avenue’s role in this connection\, please reach out to Kristen Lane\, Minister of Discipleship\, at klane@graceavenue.org.
