Youth Programs
Confirmation
Learn More
Confirmation is when Christians choose their faith for themselves and “confirm” their intent to live out their baptismal vows. At Grace Avenue, we offer Confirmation Class for 6th-8th graders to learn more about their faith before choosing to be confirmed and becoming full members of the church.
Mission Trips
Learn More
Each summer, our youth go on a mission trip to a local community each summer. There will be one week for middle schoolers and one for high schoolers. This week is an opportunity to spend time in service, worship, and fellowship as we grow in relationship with God, the community, and with each other. It’s a commitment to getting your hands dirty, but it’s a lot of fun, too! Parents and guardians – we also welcome you to sign up to be a volunteer on these trips.
Camps & Retreats
Learn More
Along with youth from other churches around North Texas, we send our youth to Bridgeport Camp & Conference Center – a camp ministry of the Horizon Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. We pick one week of summer camp to attend together along with the midwinter retreat weekend led by youth from around the conference. It’s a special time to spend together in worship, study, prayer, and FUN!
Provide Dinner for Sunday Night Youth
We feed around 50 students each week, and we need your help! You don’t have to make a whole meal – sign up to bring part of the entree, side dish, or dessert.
