Senior Adults at Grace Avenue provides ministries for adults 55+ years young to come together using our faith, experience, knowledge, and service to bring the Vision and Mission of Grace Avenue UMC to life. We strive to build a community for spiritual growth, fellowship, acts of kindness, and generosity, all the time reinforcing self-worth and purpose.

Silver Link
As we age, our need for community does not diminish. Perhaps you are looking for a place where your aging loved one can continue to worship each week, or maybe you’re someone with a heart for serving vulnerable communities. Silver Link is a worship service at The Landing, the assisted living facility of a retirement community called Watermere at Frisco. This vital ministry was started by volunteers from Grace Avenue as an outreach ministry, and now worships a congregation of around 20 residents from all denominations each week.
Volunteer
We like to have 2 leaders for each position so that volunteers are making a commitment of about 6 Sundays a year. We welcome those who can offer a devotional message, provide music, serve communion, and read liturgy. Come and share your gifts, and you will find yourself richly blessed by these amazing souls!
